We've always had dogs and cats of our own, and when our oldest son was 11, he wanted to earn extra money caring for cats in the neighborhood to save up for an international trip. We helped him set up cat care gigs through the summer, and that began our official foray into dog and pet care. Since then, we've been housesitting and taking care of cats, dogs, farm animals and more in the Ashland/Talent/Phoenix area (and house sitting in Central Oregon too!)

Here are a few relevant details about us:

Aleta is a Registered Nurse.

Ross has had large-breed dogs since he was a child.

Our current family dog is a 12-lb Chihuahua-Terrier rescue dog from Baja.

We have 2 rescue cats.

Our son volunteers to socialize with cats at the rescue shelters.

We've taken care of chickens, goats, and even some baby pigs!

We have experience with kittens.

We do sometimes board dogs in our own home. We have 2 cats, a dog, and a young child in our home, so we must interview dogs before we agree to host your pup!

We serve Ashland, Talent, and Phoenix, and occasionally house sitting out of the area (Central Oregon, Willamette Valley, Portland, Mt. Shasta, Redding).
